Model PTE – Pulse Encodalizer™

Sensus- and Neptune-Protocol AMR/AMI Signal Generator for Specialty-Type Flow Meters. Converts Pulse Signals to Sensus & Neptune Protocols, supporting virtually any flow meter that features a dry-contact/open-collector/open-drain pulse.  Also serves as a remote, battery-powered display for pulse-type flow meters.  For details, please refer to its datasheet. Housed within a NEMA-4X Enclosure suitable for outdoor or indoor use. Battery-Powered Only.  (Future models will accommodate battery-power, 9-36 vdc mains-power, or both.  2-Year Warranty. Made in the USA.

Molded Cable Options: By default, the PTE Pulse Encodalizer is outfitted with a cable gland and terminal block AMI interface only.  Additional cabling is available within the CABLES AND CONNECTORS section of this eStore.  Molded cable connection to the AMI endpoint is possible using a Male Adapter (Nicor or Itron).  For NYC DEP applications, Nicor Cabling to the AMI endpoint is required.
