A sincere thank you<\/em><\/strong> to Kamstrup Water Metering LLC (Cumming, GA)<\/a><\/strong> for the gracious invitation to their Water Meter Boot Camp (October 2025)<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was such a pleasure to shake hands and meet face-to-face with so many terrific water industry professionals — many of whom I had previously spoken with on the phone or via video conference countless times, but never in-person!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a 2-hour class at Kamstrup’s Factory\/Headquarters in Cumming GA, and with the aid of our newly-constructed water meter \/ instrumentation training rig, I led a group of water industry professionals through a hands-on training session \u2014 where each learned how to connect running Kamstrup FlowIQ ultrasonic water meters<\/strong> to various SCADAmetrics instruments, including the Signalizer<\/a><\/strong>, EtherMeter<\/a><\/strong>, and TheMeterDisplay<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The professionals thereby learned how to generate 4-20 milliamp, Pulse, Modbus, and EtherNet\/IP signals from Kamstrup meters for SCADA and BMS connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also learned how to use the Pulse Encodalizer<\/a><\/strong> to connect non-standard flow meters to a Kamstrup AMI system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a very productive day! \u2026and it was a privilege to see all my old & new friends from Kamstrup and their distributors in attendance!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
