A heartfelt thank you<\/em><\/strong> to Neptune Technology Group (Tallassee, GA)<\/a><\/strong> for the gracious invitation to their Neptune Connect Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona (August 2025)<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And \u2014 perhaps most importantly \u2014 it was so great to shake hands and meet face-to-face with so many terrific water industry professionals — many of whom I had previously spoken with on the phone or via video conference countless times, but never in-person!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was our honor to contribute as a Gold Sponsor for this distinguished conference, and it was a pleasure to lead a pair of hands-on training and informational sessions for Neptune sales representatives, distributors, and customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the aid of our newly-constructed water meter \/ instrumentation training rig, I led a group of water industry professionals through two hands-on training sessions \u2014 where each learned how to connect running Neptune water meters to various SCADAmetrics instruments, including the Signalizer<\/a><\/strong>, EtherMeter<\/a><\/strong>, and TheMeterDisplay<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The professionals thereby learned how to generate 4-20 milliamp, Pulse, Modbus, and EtherNet\/IP signals from Neptune meters for SCADA and BMS connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also learned how to use the Pulse Encodalizer<\/a><\/strong> to connect non-standard flow meters to a Neptune360 AMI system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a very productive day! \u2026and it was a privilege to see all my old & new friends from Neptune, their distributors, and of course the many customers in attendance!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
