A new application note has been\u00a0posted to the support page <\/a>of scadametrics.com<\/a>.\u00a0 The note documents\u00a0the procedures\u00a0for programming a Sensus “ICE” register (index)\u00a0for maximum metering resolution and EtherMeter compatibility.<\/p>\n

Maximized resolution\u00a0improves the connected SCADA system’s\u00a0ability to monitor realtime flow-rate and totalization from both water and gas meters.<\/p>\n

While it is preferable (and simpler) for the\u00a0customer to request pre-programming by Sensus personnel, it is important to note that Sensus meters\u00a0may also be programmed in the field with one of Sensus’ field programming devices.<\/p>\n

This document details the field-programming procedures for Sensus water and gas meters.<\/p>\n
